Nate Baldwin started playing shows in 1997. After years of the musician grind; playing everywhere from empty warehouses to big stages, recording in studios from Nashville to LA, over 20 bands, years of touring, and a long discography, Nate found himself between musical projects and out of curiosity, built a guitar for a friend.

 

Shortly thereafter that guitar ended up on stage at a stadium and by a strange twist of fate, ended up being played back to back with a multi-thousand dollar factory guitar from a well known corporate brand. The contrast was stark and sobering. Nate would later recount the experience as a "moment of revelation" where the previous 15 years of making music seemed like nothing more than preparation for a life's work - Making guitars that facilitate great rock and roll.
